Saints Promising star about to be born in New Orleans

Some of the problems the New Orleans Saints had last season have been fixed, but they can still improve. It’s not a surprise. It’s only June 1st. There are just under 99 days left until the Saints’ season starts. By the time Week 1 comes around, the squad will surely not look the same.
There could be some new players added, and there will almost certainly be some surprising cuts as the team gets down to 53 players. Every year it’s like this. Also, when teams cut their ranks, New Orleans will probably be able to use someone that another team gets rid of. That’s just how the business works.
A lot has been said about the cornerback situation in the last few weeks. This is because the Saints lost talented players like Paulson Adebo and Marshon Lattimore last year. Charvarius Ward was available for the Saints to sign, but they declined. A guy who is still eligible, like Stephon Gilmore, Rasul Douglas, James Bradberry, Kendall Fuller, Asante Samuel Jr., or someone else, wouldn’t hurt. There is one player on the Saints who could step up in 2025, though. Draft pick in the second round in 2024 The rookie Kool-Aid McKinstry did a good job and is now set to play a big part. There is a lot of talk about him going into the 2025 season, and Thomas Valentine of Pro Football Focus said that McKinstry will be the best cornerback in football that year. Valentine talked about cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry of the New Orleans Saints. “The Saints’ current situation doesn’t make me feel good about the 2025 season.”
Some people like Tyler Shough, but as a new quarterback who will soon be 26 years old, it might be hard for him to learn. Besides that, the Saints lack talent all over the field. However, McKinstry took over as the starter in the middle of the season and did a great job.
That year, McKinstry got a 66.1 grade, which put him 52nd out of 128 cornerbacks, and a 67.1 grade for covering, which put him 45th. As a cornerback, he only let in 33 catches on 57 targets, which added up to 404 yards. He is a smart football player with great speed to match. That’s why I think McKinstry will make a lot of progress in 2025. The Saints’ best cover corner is now McKinstry, since Paulson Adebo and Marshon Lattimore have left the team. The former Alabama corner had a good rookie season, so we think he could have a big sophomore year.
