When will the Miami Hurricanes play in a bowl game? Foretelling potential matchups

The College Football Playoff aspirations of the Miami Hurricanes were dashed on Tuesday night by the rankings update. Speculation has progressed to a new level: How does Miami’s bowl schedule look? The 42-38 loss to Syracuse on Saturday was the final nail in the coffin for UM’s postseason aspirations.

As a result, the Hurricanes fell from sixth to twelfth place in the College Football Playoff rankings and were unable to advance to the ACC title game.
Due to the fact that the Big 12 champion (either No. 15 Arizona State or No. 16 Iowa State) receives an automatic invitation, the Canes are no longer eligible for the 12-team field and have no additional games to catch up.
Miami will have to settle for a traditional season-ending bowl game in a few weeks. They’ll learn which bowl they’ll play in after the CFP bracket is finalized this weekend.

Can the Hurricanes get to a bowl game?

Though they are no longer eligible for bowl games, the Hurricanes are not in the College Football Playoff.
This season, Miami comfortably qualified for a bowl game with a record of 10-2 (6-2 in ACC). Bowl eligibility was achieved on October 5 as they overcame a 25-point deficit to upset California on the road.

Miami is set to play in one of the best non-playoff bowl games because they are the “first team out” of the CFP tournament.
A lot of bowl predictions say that UM will play in Florida, but some say they will go to the West Coast.
