Thunder Valley continues its longstanding partnership with Toyota as the title sponsor.

The Thunder Valley National has become a major global event that draws people from all over the world to the “Mile High City” thanks to a strong relationship with the Denver Toyota Dealer Association.
The Denver Toyota Dealer Association, a longtime partner of MX Sports Pro Racing, Inc. and event organizer David Clabaugh, has announced their return as title sponsor of the third race of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. On Saturday, June 7, for Round 20 of the SMX World Championship, riders will face the most unique challenge of the summer campaign at the 21st Toyota Thunder Valley National.
The park, which is located at an elevation of over 6,000 feet, will test the limits of both riders and their motorcycles. The breathtaking mountaintop backdrop of Thunder Valley made an effect on championship program goers in 2005 that has persisted for the previous two decades.
The action is already complicated due to the low oxygen levels, which reduce the power of the motorbike and make the participants’ breaths shorter.
Thunder Valley has hosted the first-ever night race in 2008 and the 2010 FIM Motocross of Nations, when the United States of America came out on top, among other historic events in American motocross history.
Thanks to them and other exhilarating moments on the circuit, Thunder Valley has become a staple of the Pro Motocross Championship and one of the world’s most prestigious locations.
My overarching objective in starting Thunder Valley Motocross Park was to promote Colorado as a premier location for motocross lovers and fans. According to Clabaugh, who oversaw Thunder Valley’s rise to prominence as a world-class facility over the last 25 years, the state’s racing industry has been revitalized thanks to the attention.
With the help of the Denver Toyota Dealer Association, who has been there for us from the beginning and shared our vision, we were able to make this track and event a reality.
It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m thankful that their enthusiasm hasn’t waned since we started working together.
There are six Toyota dealerships in the Denver/Boulder area that form the Denver Toyota Dealer Association (TDA). They collaborate on a number of business projects and community outreach programs.
Here are the dealerships that make up TDA: AutoNation Toyota Araphoe in Centennial, Groove Toyota in Englewood, Larry H. Miller Toyota in Boulder, Mountain States Toyota in Denver, Stevinson Toyota East in Aurora, and Stevinson Toyota West in Lakewood.
With a number of long-standing connections, the Association is deeply ingrained in the Denver area community and helps to support the top programs, events, initiatives, and experiences that the city has to offer.
