Southampton FC and Portsmouth FC sanctioned
An independent Regulatory Commission has issued sanctions to Portsmouth FC and Southampton FC after a mass confrontation during their EFL Championship fixture on Sunday 25 January.

It was alleged that in the 69th minute, both sides failed to prevent their players from acting in an improper and/or provocative manner.
Both clubs accepted the charges. The Commission subsequently fined Southampton £50,000 and Portsmouth £25,000, with the written reasons for the penalties available below.
