NHL’s top trade target linked to Boston bruins

This upcoming offseason, the Boston Bruins should target strengthening their top six forwards.
No one should be surprised that the Bruins are being linked to a top trade target in the NHL as a result of their obvious need for offensive help.

The Fourth Period reports that Minnesota Wild center Marco Rossi is reportedly being courted by other teams, including the Bruins.

The following clubs are rumored to be interested in Rossi to different extents: the New York Rangers, the Boston Bruins, the Montreal Canadiens, the Vancouver Canucks, the Buffalo Sabres, and Calgary Flames.

The rumor that Rossi is being considered by the Bruins is not shocking. The ninth overall pick in 2020 would provide them the middle-of-the-field help they need.

Also, at only 23 years old, he has plenty of time to continue improving his game, so he might provide them with a long-term answer in their top six.
After a breakout 2024–25 season with the Wild, in which he scored 24 goals, added 36 assists, and finished with 60 points (a new career best), Rossi is looking to build on his success.
This was a significant improvement over his 2023–24 campaign, when he scored 21 goals and had 40 points in 82 games with Minnesota.

The Wild would undoubtedly demand a substantial return in any possible trade involving rookie center Roman Rossi, who is coming off a 60-point season.

His prior cap hit was $863,334; however, he is a pending restricted free agent and will receive a significant raise this summer.
