Memphis Grizzlies provide Ja Morant injury update before NBA play-in game against the Mavs

Memphis Grizzlies will face the Dallas Mavericks, and Ja Morant’s participation is uncertain.
In Tuesday’s 121-116 loss to the Golden State Warriors, Morant sprained his right ankle. He is still struggling with the injury.
Morant did not work out with the Grizzlies on Thursday.
Coach Tuomas Iisalo said he will decide at game time on Friday.
He said on Thursday, “If he feels he’s good to go, we have full faith in him.” “He can also tell right away if he’s ready to go or not and how.” In this case, I’m relying on the professionals, since I’m not skilled in medicine.
In the third quarter against Golden State, Morant got hurt. With 9:26 left in the fourth quarter, he came back and played the rest of the game.
He finished with 22 points, nine of eighteen shots made, and three assists. When asked about his plans for Friday after the game, Morant told reporters, “I’m playing.” Memphis will let Morant test his ankle for most of Friday before deciding if he can play or not.
