Injury update on the Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies made the following announcement regarding Zach Edey, the center, regarding his medical condition today: Edey suffered a re-sprain of his left ankle this week while participating in a training session for the offseason.
will need to have surgery in order to treat the excessive ligamentous laxity that was discovered during imaging. This will allow him to re-stabilize his ankle with the help of the surgery.
The surgical procedure will be followed by the provision of an initial timeline, but it is anticipated that Edey will make a complete recovery.
