Amid rumors of a trade involving Chris Olave, the Saints coach speaks out.

O There have been a lot of trade reports about New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave in the past few years.

Moves have been talked about, but nothing has happened. Olave is getting ready for the 2025 season with the Saints.

A while ago, it was said that both the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers had talked to New Orleans about trading Olave.
The Saints turned down both teams. Olave has shown signs of being a star in his short time in the NFL. He has, however, dealt with accidents, especially concussions. He wants the 2025 season to be a big one for him.

There have been trade reports about Olave. Kellen Moore, the first-year head coach in New Orleans who just won the Super Bowl as the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, spoke out about them.
Moore said, “Don’t worry too much about that.” “We’re very happy with Chris. “This offseason was great, his career has been great so far, and the future will be great for him.”
So far, the 24-year-old wide receiver has played in 39 NFL games and caught 191 passes for 2,565 yards and 10 scores.

Last year, he only played in eight games. During his time with the Saints in 2023, Olave caught 87 passes for 1,123 yards and five scores across 16 games.

Because he showed he could be a real No. 1, New Orleans picked him with the 11th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Things could change, and the Saints might be willing to trade Olave. Moore and his team seem to see him as an important part of the future for now.

In 2025, Olave will play a big role. Derek Carr quit in New Orleans because he hurt his shoulder. With Spencer Rattler, Tyler Shough, or Jake Haener as choices, the team will put one of three young quarterbacks under center. The quarterback will need a lot of help and a go-to target no matter who gets the job. If Olave can stay healthy, he could be that person.
Time will tell if Olave can stay on the field and get over his past of injuries. It sounds like the Saints will keep their young wide receiver for now.
