Fans Wonder As Memphis Grizzlies’ Zach Edey Gets New Foot Surgery After Injuries
Zach Edey, a center for the Memphis Grizzlies, has seen his ankle ailment make headlines once again.
In response to Edey’s sprained ankle and subsequent surgical procedures, the Grizzlies issued a formal statement.
On the other hand, a lot of fans aren’t buying it and are wondering if surgery is necessary for a damaged ankle. Despite the Grizzlies’ best efforts, it appears that they are withholding some information about the injury from the public.
Edey will reportedly require a lengthy rehabilitation period and will hence be unable to participate in the 2025–26 season.

Zach Edey re-sprained his left ankle during off-season training, according to an official statement provided by the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, June 8.
Scan results showed that the player’s ankle had excessive ligamentous laxity, necessitating surgical correction.
