Potential LSU Signee renounces Mississippi State
The LSU Tigers own the No. 2 recruiting class in 2026 and are looking to add quite a few more pieces before it’s all said and done. On Monday, they got some good news about one of their top targets.
A four-star offensive tackle prospect for the class of 2026 named Emanuel Tucker said he was leaving Mississippi State and will be recruiting again.
Based on On3’s Industry Rankings, Tucker is a four-star talent and the No. 203 overall pick in the 2026 class.
The 16th best offensive tackle in the class used to commit to Mississippi State. He would be a huge boost to LSU’s offensive line, which only has one tackle right now.
Tucker’s decision to not commit comes at a good time for LSU and other schools that were trying to get him to pledge.
He was just at Ole Miss and will soon be in Baton Rouge, so they’ll have a chance to make a mark on Tucker that will last.
LSU’s 2026 class is second only to USC’s, which has 27 agreements at this point. Even though they only have nine pledges, the Tigers are only.200 points behind the Trojans.
Two five-stars (Richard Anderson and Tristen Keys) are in the Tigers’ 2026 class, along with six four-stars and one three-star.
More progress will be made toward Lincoln Riley’s class if they can finish up with Tucker.
LSU will be a strong contender to sign the top class almost every year now that they have more NIL dollars and a better recruiting team. They don’t care about which state they’re in and will go get a guy they like anyway.

We need to wait and see if Brad Davis and Brian Kelly can make things happen with Tucker.
If they can, it would be a huge win for their 2026 class.
