Georgia bulldogs makes big announcements!!!
Georgia Football Has Made a Big Announcement Recently first appeared on Athlon Sports.
As the 2025 season goes on, the Georgia Bulldogs will play at least three foes at 3:30 pm ET.
Two more games for the Bulldogs will start in the middle of the afternoon.
Georgia stated on Thursday the start times for five 2025 games.
Starting times for all five games will be in the middle of the afternoon.
These games include two non-conference games in Athens, a non-conference game at a neutral site, an SEC game on the road, and an SEC rivalry game at a neutral site with the Florida Gators. Georgia will play the Marshall Thundering Herd, the Austin Peay Governors, the Tennessee Volunteers, and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in those 3:30 games. The Gators will not be there.
It’s not a surprise that Georgia-Florida will start at 3:30 pm ET. The rivalry game, which is sometimes called “The World’s Largest Cocktail Party,” takes place every year on the Saturday after Halloween at 3:30 ET.
But last year, Georgia faced Tennessee and Georgia Tech in primetime. Also in the past, the Bulldogs have often played their home non-conference games at noon.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is only a few miles away from Bobby Dodd Stadium and the site of Georgia Tech. It is home to the Atlanta Falcons.
