Raheem Sterling completes shock transfer in surprise deal
Chelsea F.C. travel to face Championship outfit Hull City A.F.C. in Friday night’s FA Cup fourth-round clash.
Blues boss Liam Rosenior is set for a reunion with his former club, having been in charge of the Tigers from 2022 to 2024. He has made a bright start to life in west London, though his side were held to a 2-2 draw by relegation-battling Leeds United F.C. last time out.

Chelsea kept a relatively low profile during the January transfer window, but winger Raheem Sterling did leave the club by mutual agreement.
It has now been confirmed that the England international has secured an unexpected next move, joining Dutch giants Feyenoord on a free transfer after departing Stamford Bridge last month.
The Eredivisie side announced on Thursday that a deal had been struck to keep him for the remainder of the season.
Sterling, 31, first rose to prominence at Liverpool F.C. before completing a high-profile switch to Manchester City F.C. in 2015. During seven successful years at the Etihad, he netted 131 goals and registered 86 assists in 339 appearances across all competitions, lifting the Premier League title four times.
However, since arriving at Chelsea in 2022, his impact has waned. He slipped down the pecking order and spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Arsenal F.C., though that stint failed to reignite his form.
After returning to Stamford Bridge last summer and training separately from the first team, Sterling ultimately exited as a free agent in January.
The 82-cap England international will now link up with head coach Robin van Persie in Rotterdam as he looks to revive his career.
