New signings included as Derby County announce 24-Man EFL squad
Derby County have confirmed the 24 players who will represent the club for the remainder of the Championship season following a busy January transfer window.
As per EFL regulations, clubs are required to submit their official squad lists after the window shuts, with a maximum of 25 senior players allowed. The Rams have named 24.

All four January signings — Sammie Szmodics, Jaydon Banel, Oscar Fraulo and Derry Murkin — are included after sealing their moves last month. There is also a change from the squad lodged at the start of the campaign, with third-choice goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell now added after previously being left out.
The revised list leaves Derby with 23 outfield players and underlines the club’s efforts to trim the squad by moving on those no longer central to plans.
Earlier in the season, Derby registered 25 players but excluded Curtis Nelson as he worked his way back from a knee injury. After Owen Beck returned to Liverpool because of a hamstring problem, Nelson was drafted back in to fill the slot. He has since joined MK Dons on a permanent basis.
Other departures include Ebou Adams (Portsmouth), Kayden Jackson (Bradford), Ryan Nyambe (Reading, loan), Corey Blackett-Taylor (Bolton, loan) and Andi Weimann (Rapid Vienna, loan). Midfielder Owen Eames does not need to be registered as he qualifies as an under-21 academy product.
The full squad submitted to the EFL, is as follows: Patrick Agyemang, Jaydon Banel, Danny Batth, Ben Brereton, Rhian Brewster, Bobby Clark, Matt Clarke, Callum Elder, Craig Forsyth, Oscar Fraulo, Max Johnston, Sondre Langas, Carlton Morris, Derry Murkin, Richard O’Donnell, David Ozoh, Lars-Jorgen Salvesen, Dion Sanderson, Sammie Szmodics, Liam Thompson, Lewis Travis, Josh Vickers, Joe Ward and Jacob Widell Zetterstrom.
