Kyrie Irving responds to Tracy McGrady’s bold assertion about Jamaal Tinsley’s comparison
Kyrie Irving spoke himself clearly, stressing that he is confident in himself and that he does not let criticism like this affect his performance.
Kyrie Irving has addressed Tracy McGrady’s major accusation, in which McGrady likened the handle of former NBA guard Jamaal Tinsley to that of the All-Star for the Dallas Mavericks.
Tracy McGrady’s audacious assertion that Tinsley possessed superior ball handling abilities to Irving sparked the dispute, which caused ripples around the league. “I don’t think anybody had better handles than Jamaal Tinsley, even Kyrie,” McGrady stated in a segment, throwing a new twist into the continuing discussion about who is the most gifted with the ball.
In a subtle way, Irving responded to a comment during his Twitch live.
His thoughts were articulated, and he emphasized that he is confident in himself and that remarks like these do not affect his playing. “When I see an OG like (Tracy McGrady) come out and say ‘I don’t think nobody had better handles than Jamaal Tinsley, even Kyrie,’ it doesn’t bother me because I’m a mix of all the great players that came before me,” said Irving. This analogy also brings to light a golden age of NBA ball handling, when players like Tinsley, McGrady, and Irving elevated the skill to an art form.
They all have their own distinct flair, which they bring to their drives and crossovers.
After all, “you never know who’s watching you, you never know who’s going to help you or give you that opportunity,” Irving remarked. “Just keep your gracefulness.
Being a generous person is fine. Being cool isn’t a must for telling people what’s up.
Getting along with people doesn’t require you to be very tough. Still, be kind to yourself.
Make that equal. Irving is presently recuperating from a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) that he suffered in early March.
Although the All-Star guard for the Dallas Mavericks is anticipated to return to action next season, he will most certainly sit out a good chunk of the season while he gets back into shape.
