Ja Morant of the Grizzlies Could Join the Heat for Four Players
In the 2025 NBA Playoffs, the first round was swept by the Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies. Grizzlies were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder, Heat were swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With the second overall selection in the 2019 NBA Draft, Ja Morant was selected by Memphis. Morant was named the league’s most improved player in 2021–22 and rookie of the year in 2019–20.

There was one All-NBA squad and two All-Star teams that he was a part of.
Having said that, the Grizzlies’ postseason record under Morant is a meager one.
The NBA has punished Morant twice for inciting violence on Instagram Live; one NBA commentator even suggested the Heat acquire the All-Star point guard in a trade.
