Ex-Villanueva special teams coordinator joins Penn State as analyst
In order to strengthen its support staff, Penn State has recruited a new coach from a team that will be competing against them in a non conference game.
According to the staff directory, the Nittany Lions have appointed Matthew Colangelo, who formerly served as the coordinator of special teams at Villanova, to the position of special teams analyst. Prior to joining the Wildcats, Colangelo served as a safeties coach for both Holy Cross and Yale Football.

A matchup between Penn State and Villanova is scheduled to take place at Beaver Stadium on September 13 at 3:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on Fox Sports1.
Keith Bruno, a former analyst for the special teams program, has left the organization, and the Nittany Lions have also hired Allen Tucker, a former analyst for Troy, to fill the same position. This indicates that there has been some turnover in the special teams staff.
