Chris Davies dropped Birmingham City striker Marvin Ducksch over undisclosed internal issue
Marvin Ducksch was not part of the squad as Birmingham City secured a 2-0 win over Wrexham on Sunday afternoon.
Head coach Chris Davies confirmed after the match that the striker’s omission was due to an internal issue, describing it as a selection decision on his part.

Ducksch, a two-cap Germany international and the club’s leading scorer this season with 11 goals in all competitions, was left out of the matchday squad for the victory at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
When questioned about the situation, Davies explained that the matter remains private and is currently being handled internally, offering no further details.
The 32-year-old joined Birmingham City from Werder Bremen last summer and still has two years remaining on his contract. However, speculation is beginning to grow over a possible departure once the transfer window reopens.
Davies also stopped short of confirming whether Ducksch will feature again this season, noting that the situation will be reviewed before any decisions are made for the remaining four Championship fixtures.
Despite making 35 appearances during his debut campaign, Ducksch has recently fallen behind August Priske in the pecking order.
