A linebacker from Colorado commits to play for Michigan State football in 2026.
The 2026 recruiting class for Michigan State football got bigger with the addition of a top target during the first weekend of official visits.

Englewood, Colorado, native Braylon Hodge has decided to pledge to Michigan State and has canceled all of his other official visits.

For the 6-foot-3, 210-pound defender, the Spartans beat out Iowa, Minnesota, and Utah. Two47Sports rates him as an 88, which means he is a highly valued 3-star player and the No. 44 linebacker in the country.
When it comes to prospects in the area, Hodge has been rising quickly.
His stock will almost certainly continue to rise as he continues to show off his skills with his size.

The Spartans have won a huge battle by getting him to agree.
He is the first defensive pledge Michigan State has made in the 2026 recruiting class, and they really need him.
