New Photo of Highly-Sought-After Star Surfaces, Generating Rumors among Georgia fans
A four-star athlete has been with the Georgia Bulldogs football team for a long time.
They have had to court the possibility, though, just like every other team.
But on Saturday, four-star defensive lineman PJ Dean gave us a sneak peek at what he would look like in a Bulldogs outfit. “4-star DL PJ Dean sporting the Georgia uniform on his official visit,” On3’s Jeremy Johnson wrote as a story on social media about a picture of Dean wearing the black Georgia uniform.
Saturday and Sunday, Dean was going to work with Tray Scott, who is the defensive line coach for the Bulldogs.
When Dean talked to Johnson before the visit, he had good things to say about the teacher. Dean told Johnson, “It’s been easy because coach Scott is a nice guy.” “For sure, he’s a cool, calm guy.” There wasn’t a lot of yelling going on in the defensive line room where I was. “It was more of a strict, ‘He’s teaching you’ tone. That’s how he always does things. That’s how I think all of them do it, but he does it. “I love it.”
Dean Wilson’s bigger brother Jared started last season at center for the Bulldogs. Wilson was picked up by the New England Patriots in the third round of the draft in April.
Dean was also supposed to play offensive line in college at first. But he recently turned his attention to defense.
The Bulldogs might know more about Dean than anyone else because his brother plays for the team. However, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine thinks that the defensive end will sign with Ohio State.
The composite ranks from 247 Sports show that Dean is the No. 7 defensive lineman and the 68th-best recruit in the class of 2026.
