Man Utd target Leicester City star in summer move after ‘Unreal’ performances
Manchester United are among several clubs monitoring Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga ahead of the summer transfer window, although they face strong competition for his signature, according to reports from TEAMtalk.
While the club is focused on strengthening the first team with experienced players capable of making an immediate impact, there remains a clear emphasis on recruiting emerging talent as part of a longer-term strategy.
Recent arrivals such as Ayden Heaven, Diego Leon, Chido Obi, and Leny Yoro highlight this approach, with all viewed as prospects for the future rather than immediate starters.

Despite this youth-focused recruitment, United are expected to prioritise players who can deliver instant results in the upcoming window, while still maintaining a balance between present needs and future development.
According to the report, United are particularly interested in Monga, who has attracted attention from elite clubs including Juventus, Real Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund, as well as multiple Premier League sides. With Leicester facing the possibility of relegation to League One, they could be vulnerable to losing key young talents.
United are believed to be preparing a formal approach for the 16-year-old, who has yet to sign a professional contract due to his age. Described as “unreal,” Monga now faces a crucial decision regarding his future, particularly around securing regular playing time.
Although not a consistent starter, he has featured regularly for Leicester this season, which is notable given his age. A move to a top club could limit his immediate opportunities, meaning careful consideration will be required.
One potential pathway for United would involve signing Monga and arranging a loan move likely to a Championship club to ensure he continues to gain valuable first-team experience while developing his game.
