Who says that the 2025 NBA Finals have to wrap up before a possibly frantic summer can begin? Not the Orlando Magic, who on Sunday added Desmond Bane from the Memphis Grizzlies for a hefty money (and a fantastic fit), facilitating the first blockbuster of the summer.

This offseason might be just as crazy as predicted if past experiences are any indicator.

There is every indication that more spectacular developments are on the horizon, what with the good draft class, the poor free-agent crop (in terms of players and buyers), and the general lack of structure in the league as a result of the CBA, which has caused superteams to disband.
