A Black 41 Flash Reverse Was One of Nebraska’s Top 25 Plays Since 2000 In College Football

There is no doubt that one of Cornhusker’s most iconic plays ranks well among the best of the 2000s.
The last 25 years of Nebraska football have been very different from the first 25. There have been magical times, though.
ESPN put this play on their list of the 25 best college football plays since 2000. “Some decided national titles, some gave us bragging rights for all time, and they will all stay in our minds forever.
” There is a lot of stupid stuff that happens in this sport, but the games and the best plays make it all worth it.
They will use the famous Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass from their game against Oklahoma in 2001. I think this is one of the best plays of the 2000s and one of the best plays in Cornhusker history. Oklahoma was ranked No. 2 in the BCS, and Nebraska was ranked No. 1. Nebraska beat Oklahoma 13–10. With 6:29 left in the game and the ball on the NU 37-yard line, Eric Crouch snapped it and passed it to Thunder Collins. Collins then threw it to Mike Stuntz for the reverse.
When the Oklahoma safety players crashed, Stunts threw the ball downfield to Crouch, who was wide open. Crouch scored the touchdown from 63 yards out, putting Nebraska ahead 20–10.
That’s the final score, and Nebraska is still in the running for the national title.
Crouch would win the Heisman Trophy and become the third winner in the school’s history.
In the end, the Huskers made it to the BCS National Championship game, but Miami beat them.
Below is the list of plays to make the ranking.
